英国最古老城堡中最年轻的大学
英国巴斯大学（University of Bath）成立于1966年，校园坐落于联合国教科文组织认定的“世界遗产城市”巴斯一英里外。提供安全友好的学习环境，便利的学生服务和社交机会，运动设施也是世界一流的。在英国著名媒体泰晤士报，独立报和卫报发布的大学排名中巴斯大学均名列前茅。
巴斯大学座落于“世界历史名城”巴斯之外的美丽乡村，距离伦敦只有75分钟的路程。校园占地面积200英亩，绿野的校园上建有学生宿舍和一流的体育设施。于1966年获得皇家特许状成立大学。无论在学校的建筑外观和发展前景上，巴斯大学都非常明确地力争现代化。
根据英国各机构的最近十年公布的国内大学排行榜，巴斯大学被普遍认可为英国排行前十的大学之一。2011年，巴斯大学被星期天泰晤士(Sunday Times)报评选为全英2011/2012年度最佳大学，位列全英。根据2008年政府主持的英国大学科研水平评估（RAE 2008），该校三分之二的科研项目成果位列全英前十，包含超过三分之一的项目成果位列全英前五。
